Her career has spanned a wide range of project environments—including hospitals, restaurants, schools, correctional facilities, healthcare facilities, and universities—giving her a uniquely comprehensive understanding of the construction landscape. Beginning her career as a Project Engineer and progressing into Project Manager roles with respected electrical and construction firms, Heather built a foundation rooted in technical knowledge and field coordination. Over the years, she has supported and led projects through all phases, from early planning and budgeting to construction, closeout, and long-term client support. In addition to her project management background, Heather is skilled in construction operations systems, including job cost accounting, financial controls, and process development. She specializes in Construction QuickBooks, BuilderTrend integration, and building streamlined workflows that improve job costing, forecasting accuracy, and team communication. Her ability to bridge field operations with back-end financial systems has become a key asset in scaling Tankersley Construction and maintaining healthy margins across multiple projects.
